About Bard College

Bard College is a small four-year liberal arts college located in Annandale-on-Hudson, which is a hamlet in Dutchess County, in the US state of New York.

The college was established in 1860, as St. Stephen's, in association with the Episcopal church of New York City, and adopted its current name in 1934, to honor its founder. It offers its students various educational programs, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Athletics

Bard's athletic teams are known as the Raptors and they compete in NCAA Division III. Their distinctive colors are black and white.
